Join VIA for a 7-to-9-week internship program in the lively city of Yangon,
bringing your business or tech skill-set to companies, nonprofits and social
enterprises that are coming up with creative ways to address social challenges.
Myanmar is in the throes of rapid change, offering visitors an extraordinary
opportunity to witness this transformation first-hand. As the country opens up
to the outside world and resources flood in, local businesses and organizations
are rising to the challenge in new and inspired ways. You can be part of that
change as you contribute to their efforts and develop new skills, while
learning more about this fascinating country at a crossroads.
You’ll be matched with a host organization that fits your skill-set, and
connected with language-learning and cultural exchange experiences.
Participants will be accepted on a rolling basis until the program is full.
Applicants can expect to receive a response within two days of completing an
application.

labor in Myanmar

tech professionals in Myanmar.”

IdeaBox Myanmar is startup incubator and consulting firm focused on building
Myanmar’s online infrastructure and internet companies. It provides trainings,
business plans and models, support and consulting to aid creatives in realizing
their dreams.

Tagu Films is an award-winning Myanmar film crew, renown for their
documentaries. They do creative work, but also direct for clients such as USAID
and UNOPS. Their documentaries have received awards at countless local and
international film festivals, and have even garnered public praise from U.S.
President Barack Obama during a 2014 address in Rangoon.
