Was anyone else bothered by the butchering of trees on their block in CV.
Yesterday, three city employees were hacking at the tree in the well in
front of my house. These people obviously knew/know nothing about tree
pruning.
After finishing with that one-and removing major limbs-they
I agree, their treatment was not good. The young pin oaks, which did not need
to be trimmed at all, took a particular beating. However, the bradford pear in
front of our house was desperately in need of having its bottom branch removed
before it fell off and onto someone, so grateful to see
Winter is a great time to prune. there's no leaves, and there's no pests or
pathogens around to move into the pruning cuts.
