I believe the trash at McDonalds at 29th is picked up in the wee hours
but
thats on the other side of a block-long parking lot (and then a ½ block to
our house), so its not too noisy.

Christine is correct, John, a private hauler has been picking up the dumpsters
at the back of the apartment bldg for years at between 5 and 6 am. It was
super fun to have infants awakened by them routinely ;-D Never knew there were
ordinances against this...

BTW, the City asks us to have our trash and recycling out by 6 a.m.,
although I have never seen the City sanitation crews that early on my block.
And some of the new CVCBD trash cans are full and surrounded by plastic
bags of household trash, and sometimes rats can be seen there as early
as 6
The dumpsters behind the JHU bldg. at 29th Charles and from the nursing home
(?) on 28th (btwn. Maryland Charles) come very early during the summer
months. I'll note the time in the future.
