Hello everyone, As you get the inkling to start your spring cleaning, please save the datefor this year's Greater Charles Village Junk Hunt scheduled for Saturday May 11, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The Junk Hunt is a community wide sidewalk sale. Village Parents will do the advertising and promoting of the event, you can sign up and pay a small fee to be a seller in the event. We had many requests for early notice this year, so hopefully this will give you plenty of time to collect your basement treasures to sell. If you are still contemplating signing up for Saturday's Junk Hunt and would like a charity to pickup any unsold items, you need to sign up by tonight, Wednesday, May 8 at 9:00pm. The charity, National Children's Center (nccinc.org) has requested a list of all addresses for pickup by Thursday morning. The last two weeks have been overwhelming -- fire, floods and landslides. What most of us appreciate about Charles Village is our neighbors and the community we have together. We come together in times of distress and join together to create fun. We invite you to participate in this year's 4th Annual Village Parents Junk Hunt. The Junk Hunt is scheduled for next Saturday, May 10, from 8:30AM-Noon, rain date is May 17. Come join your neighbors in selling surplus, looking for treasures, and enjoying our unique neighborhood. It is not too late to sign up to be a seller.
