wood floor, but he's treated regularly (every year I think) so the wood
is in excellant condition. I can't remember how old it is but I'd say
around 5 years. 2 axles, with electric brakes, dovetail, side-store
ramps, etc.
My Malibu is washed inside/outside/underside/topside/engine bay/etc,
wheels are polished and waxed, bumpers are polished and waxed, whole car
is waxed, windows are clean, and trunk is wiped out, fuel tank is full,

Hi Devin,
I have a TKO-600 5sp in my 69, and I love it. It's behind a 454 also
(roughly 500-550 ft/lbs).
The TKO will bolt right in place of your Muncie, with the following
exceptions:
* You'll need a 26 spline clutch disc
* shortened driveshaft with 1330 series slip yoke installed
* and some
If you truly want to go "wicked fast" at the drag strip then you need
an automatic transmission. A manual is fun, but very difficult to get
really good 60 foot times with at the track. And if you're at all
serious about "wicked times" then you'll need a good high stall speed,

Is it possible to get the stock oil pan off my 454 without hoisting the
engine up?
I have the trans out for a clutch replacement, and now might be the
time to replace that pesky pan gasket that weeps a bit.
thanks
Mike

That's what I'm thinking also. And boy, would it ever be annoying to
get the pan loose, the gasket broke, then not be able to get the pan
out! DOH!!!

I'd have to disagree with Clint, I've used PayPal for a lot of sales
(as much as $4,000 per sale) for several years, and I've never had an
issue. And Ebay discourages the use of cash or cash wire transfers.
I lifted this from their site at
