John I've done it a few times, one thing to remember is that the ratio isnt 1:1 but around 2:1 on our cars, that means that if you cut one inch off the spring it will lower the car approx two inches. do not use a torch but a cut off wheel on a die grinder and wear safety goggles. André Hi
