I would like to replace the tie-rod ends and center link on my '71
Malibu. It's not a performance machine or a concurs project, just an
occasional driver. Are the NAPA parts ok quality (made by Dana Corp)?
Are they any different from the Year One parts?

that I've looked into it, you can register a car in NY without a title, but you
need "proof of ownership". This could be a string of bills-of-sale, or a
transferable registration, or a registration accepted by another state. NY
doesn't issue a title for a car prior to '72 anyway.
saying to stay away from such cars, unless they are used for parts cars.
What are the pitfalls with this Georgia approach? I would be registering
it eventually in NY.

My '71 Malibu had 1 speaker in the front, and two in the rear. I bought an
after market front speaker that fits in the original location but has two
speakers in it for front stereo without modifying the front dash or kick
panels.

before applying the RTV.
