Yes, *-SNAPSHOT versions are development snapshots, generated automatically by Git / Hudson / Maven. Non-SNAPSHOT releases of Clojure and clojure-contrib are available in the Maven Central repository. SNAPSHOT releases, if they exist, are available in the Sonatype OSS repository. See
