Thanks. If it is VLAN isolation, there is not any need to introduce a new

Also, it looks like you are using the Quantum API -- so why not call it

The current way of inferring a cidr from gateway and netmask is odd. I
support the addition of a 'cidr' parameter to the createNetwork API. If it
is supplied then that should be the basis of specifying the cidr rather
than the gateway/netmask combo.

I think that replication of data to each region (even if it is only for
account data) is fraught with complexity and should be left to an external
service.
Can we simplify by assuming that accounts are synced somehow?

Manan,
Wido, point well taken. An answer to that might be to decouple the UI from
the management server. We don't use the cloudstack UI for our customers, so

BigSwitch controller supports multiple isolations and VLAN is one of them.
As the plugin evolves, more isolation methods will be added. Hence, I would
like to add a placeholder.
Sorry for the name confusion in API. They are not quantum API, but rather

It is not easy to sync/maintain the account information in several regions.
Is it possible to have a separate account service, cloudstack management
servers in multiple region can consult ?
