I have been using CMake and MinGW and I had problems when using the
Program Files (x86) directory.
Changing to another directory without special characters ( ) solved the
problem for me.

when you install MinGW, the minGW/bin directory is not added to the PATH
variable.
So you need to add your minGW/bin directory to your path variable, so
CMake can find the needed libraries.
