The article pretty well sums up my experience with the GTA02, although I certainly have no regrets about buying one. All things considered, the idea of the machine was great, but it is really unfortunate that the performance, stability and general quality of the applications was somewhat below

Unfortunately, I feel the struggle for a Linux phone is pretty much submerged by the Android phenomenon, which is in my opinion, too bad. Phone hardware that ran linux out of the box would be wonderful. It depends on what you mean by Linux. Personally I would like the GTA04 to run a Linux
