When I inserted mine, I slid the SIM into the metal piece while it was
vertical, then closed it. To lock the metal piece, you have to slide it a

AFAIK, nobody has received their phone yet. We have been warned multiple
times that we should not expect much from this first round of devices. That
said, I would be willing to bet that as soon as the phones start shipping,
you will see a bunch of updates.
