I wish it had smoother scrolling, like tangogps has.
I think that layer plugins would be a really good thing. One idea is to use
the navit engine (for example) for routing using the vector data from OSM,
and then display that on top of the png maps in omgps.
By the way, omgps uses about 50% more

Just set ELM_ENGINE env variable to x11-16. You must know about
/etc/profile, didn't you? ;
Why isn't it set by default in SHR?

I do not completely understand the reasons why there is a need for
(once again) a new file format.
As far as I understand the proposal, it is just a file system running
in an image file. Like mounting an ISO or any other file system

I bike and I have a Freerunner.
Me too! :-)
On Saturday I'm going on a 4 day bike trip. I plan to use Tango for
navigation. I'll tell you how it went. I'm taking a paper map and a motorola
too just in case :-)

WOW!
Very good!
If governments and universities are involved, we can have more power for
developing something good.

You can also use the AUX led. The faster it blinks the more CPU is used.

Does anyone know about an illume gadget showing cpu/swap usage?
While using matchbox and the relative cpu applet I feel better my
freerunner above all when it's slow to react :)
What's the best way to get the CPU usage from command line?

:) It's good that the literki author is interested in this, is he
insterested in coding some nice xshape applet ?
This reminds me of the situation with linux a few years back. When I was
trying it out on my desktop for the first time, it would take me days to
configure x-window drivers, sound card, etc, and have a working winmodem was
next to impossible. After I managed to do it, I ran around telling people

First I want to say that I do not consider this a new effort, but a

Hi,
Yes, it works fine as a handheld computer if you don't put the SIM in or
simply turn it off in some settings.
Have fun!

Hi community,
This is a new version of your favorite keyboard.
This update is concentrated on using libfreetype for fonts, and this means 2
things:
- it supports unicode input (at least I hope so, I tried it only with Polish
letters :-))
- it looks much nicer
- the keys are much more visible
Hi,
I'm not sure if anyone has ever tried this. I thought it would be handy to
have a mouse pointer on the phone, driven by a touchpad area in the lower
part of the screen. To click you just hit an appropriate button. This way
you can do left click, right click, and any other mouse buttons you
