Thanks everyone for the chicken water advice! what I got from this was
1. salt
2. marinade with alcohol
3. electrocute or bake with concentrated solar
4. serve hot
originally I was going to try to keep the hens alive the rest of the
winter, but this sounds delicious!

Hi,
I hope nobody minds that I am jumping in on this thread! :) I am on a green
committee at a local elementary school. They are doing fabulous things as far
as energy reduction, composting, etc. I'm just wondering what some other
schools are doing out there to be more green that I might share
There are heating wands for water bowls - often sold in hardware stores. Or
you can figure out a way to keep the water moving (drip from the tap? spinning
magnet? )
Anywhoo, there was a great story about chickens, chicken friends and friends on
