Can anyone please help I went to start up my CC as I want to do the
575 MB upgrade.
And all I get is the green light in front flashes and goes out no
chime no video.
Itested the pram battery and it is 3.66 good. but swapped it with a
brand new one and still get the same thing. Any suggestions

Just checking; this is with the standard logic board?
I'd power down, remove the case, and check that all connections to the
a/b are OK. Also, the flying PCB on the end of the CRT, also the HD
connectors.
Can you hear it booting? HD activity? Any clues?

If so, I'd suspect the a/b. :-(
Dam!! probaly not easy to get hu.
Try powering up, then pull the logic board out while it's nominally
powered up.
This did nothing. If I hold the power button down the green light just
keeps flashing.

When I push the power button I hear a faint static sound.

be shorting to earth - eg a dislocated metal cage.
Try starting it without the HD and floppy connected, just in case
they're shorting to earth.

How much work would it take to make a IIfx or IIci rom? Anyone with
IIsi experiences?
