I just acquired a 128k with an extensive upgrade that adds SCSI and up
to 4 megs of RAM. The upgrade board is connected to the motherboard
with a tangle of colored wires. The SCSI port is mounted to a plastic
cover that covers the battery compartment. Does anyone have any
information on this
What is it you want to know? This was a pretty standard add-on, less elegant
than the Dove MacSnap (and others) SCSI RAM commercial upgrades, more of a
garage-hack. You'll find the ROMs have been upgraded to the 128k Plus ROMs
and most likely the 400k drive replaced with an 800k drive.
