I wonder if they match the first digits of the zip code. Sounds pretty close for the East Coast. Nope, most of the Atlantic states don't have the first digit as their respective zips. Besides ZipCodes weren't implemented until well after SS was established.

Nope, not trial version. And yes, from past experience with Apple I was kind of surprised myself. I checked the DVDs that came with the machine and nothing there either. I hardly ever use a text app. and only loaded Office because a) I had it and b) I occasionally open power point docs.
