I see that Apple has a new security update (2008-007). Any comments
about it?

I guess I have already installed it because it does not appear in
the list of available updates upon a query via Software Update. No
problems here, but
I noticed that this past week Apple has released two updates: (1) a
security update and (2) a Safari update. Any thoughts on either of these?
Looks mostly harmless.

Sounds like you looked this response up in The Hitchhiker's Guide to
the Galaxy.

Safari is reported by Apple to be faster. It does seem to be.
