DRAKE UNIVERSITY LAW SCHOOL seeks applicants for the endowed position as
James Madison Chair in Constitutional Law and Director of the Drake
Constitutional Law Center, commencing with the 2004-05 academic
year. The United States Bicentennial Commission awarded Drake Law
School an endowment that established the James Madison Chair and the
Drake Constitutional Law Center, one of the premier centers for the study
of the American Constitution. Regular activities of the Center have
included an annual symposium and distinguished speakers series gathering
constitutional scholars, civil libertarians, policy analysts, lawyers,
and judges for discussions of timely issues. For more information

Thus, Drake Law School seeks applicants who possess a strong record of
high quality research and publication, excellence in teaching, and a
commitment to public and professional service. Applications from
