Don't think that a diff -s will help you any. The files will always differ,
If you take a look in /var/log/syslog when you try to start xfs you

disappears from /etc/passwd. It's fortunate that I know how to fix it.

kernel-2.4.0-0.15mdk, I have upgraded to that kernel and I am still
having locking problems between cooker and my Mandrake 7.2 NFS server.
I get O/S errors when trying an application that wants a lock (over NFS)

cards has changed. There are cards that used to use the rtl8139 module,
but now use the 8139too module.
I think what he is trying to get around to saying is that detection is not
