Did you all know that Astaro Linux is building a similar web admin based
firewall suite based on Kernel 2.4 and netfilter ? I was searching the web
and came across it at http://www.astaro.com.

Previously I mentioned I was having problems with some of the drak

Turns out the reason the graphic configuration wasn't coming up was
it was trying to install the xfree86-3.3.6 rpms, but urpmi doesn't

on my machine. I installed them manually and now the graphic

the tmp files it creates when you try to print don't seem to be found.
If you try printing one page you get back the message No such file or

- some of the packages are not in the rpmslist (e.g. libstc++2.10) - so
I added them to get a complete CD-R set. There are still some unresolved
dependencies (like scrollkeeper and an old libstdc++). I could

When I start up a Terminal in a new installation i get a window of size (XxY
cm) 6.3x17 and if I start up an xterm I get a window of size 17x12. According
to my understanding the xterm window has size 80x25

rpm --rebuilddb bought me a couple of further -Uvh's, but the segfaults
return shortly afterward.
