Hello. I am willing to rebuild the gcc3.0 from contrib in a Red Hat Linux 7.1 system. I found that these packages requires /usr/sbin/update-alternatives. The case is that currently I am not running a Mandrake distribution. Could anybody please tell me what package provides it? Thanks, Romildo

Needless to say DRI is disabled when I look in X log file and I see the above message. I'm running XFree86-4.1.0-4mdk and kernel 2.4.5-5mdk. Both set of packages have no unsatisfied dependencies. Am I missing something on my end? Voodoo3 3000 vid card.
