I just uploaded a new version of the How to install a Mandrake Firewall
without a CD.
There are now 2 tutorials :
- one using Cooker
- one using an 8.2 base
The MNF 8.2 is trickier to install, but it should be more stable (the
packages won't change) than MNF Cooker.

When I try to start rpmdrake-sources as a non-privileged user, it first
asks me for the root password and then it exits.
Of course, I expected the program window to appear after I had typed in the
correct password.
rpmdrake works fine in this regard, but I did not try rpmdrake-remove.

*Don't* upgrade to libgd2, it's in the *contribs*, so it's not
supported.
The official version in cooker is 1.8.

- audacity doesn't build with the current Cooker, so it should be dropped.
- I've just rebuild wxPython with gcc 3.2, so that's one package less

There is a problem with dialog where you have to input root password for
some configuration tools. For example if you want to run Software Source
Manager. There are two problems that I see:
1. When the dialog is open it takes all the keyboard input. It does so
even if another app gets focus.

If the network adapter of the computer that share the
connection is configured by DHCP, is the connection
sharing tool install the DHCP server ? - 2 DHCP servers
on the same network - PBS !

I click on a zip file from konqueror (RC1). I get a message that the zip
utility is not in PATH.
I have the default setup from 9 RC1, with most of client packages installed
(included gzip).
