I have problem with courier. Sometimes mail from localhost (sent by
PHP-scripts) doesn't delivered to recipient. This doesn't depend on
something in cron or server load, or anything (at least i can't
find). I examined logs and only suspicious thing is following lines:
Even though I can cram-md5 auth for imap over tls, I cannot for esmtp.
I can 'login' auth through tls, or plain through tls, but not cram-md5.
The box is checked in courieradmin, I'm somewhat lost on what could be
wrong.

To get things working between the Motorola IMAP/SMTP client and
Courier's implementation of Authenticated SMTP, all I had to do was
disable the 'AUTH PLAIN' mechnaism on Inbound ESMTP, leaving 'AUTH
