Are you talking about the text right at the top that says Lipstick
Rhetoric? That is more bold then the rest of the text, but for me it
looks the same in Safari 3 and firefox 3 on 10.5

Hi Stephen,
That is essentially what I do. Although, I do it for Compliant
browsers get it looking good there, and then worry about the others.
Saves alot of frustration I believe :)

I may be getting off topic but is there a specific reason you don't
let the browser handle all of this? In other words, Why bother setting
the space size on a fluid design rather then going for pixel perfect
reproduction in print?

coloring, it helped me see what was linked, I've
recently switched off of that to use XCode 3.0 for the Mac which does
the same thing, but I think it does it better.
I still do all the coding by hand, it's just the way I learned how to
do it.

pictures of what it is supposed to look like?
The only thing I would recommend is to put a little padding under the
menu for the line, right now it's actually partially through the words
and it makes it hard to read after you click on it :)

The only way I can reproduce what you are talking about is if I
actually stretch the browser screen across both screens end to end...
Which then it centers really well in the middle of both monitors which
is what I would expect.

to go to one place in the css file.
I do try and group stuff logically within that though, putting all of
my H elements by each other, left column container right near the
list column navigation div. Stuff like that.
