Main purpose of the script is easy support of Japanese typesetting

for multistep processing, this script runs one of the ptex based
programs (ptex, uptex, eptex, platex, uplatex) followed by dvipdfmx.

users should note that there was an interval of nearly a day during

me confused. all is now sorted out.

new on CTAN: pfarrei

2013-03-14 Thread CTAN Announcements
the daemon reported:

 Name of contribution: pfarrei
 Author's name: Markus Kohm
 Package version: r20
 Location on CTAN: /
Summary description: A bundle of executables, LaTeX documents and packages
 for priests
 License type: lppl

Announcement text given by the package's contributor:
 --
In Die TeXnische Komödie 1/2004 Christian Justen told
about his practise using LaTeX at his work as priest. One
point was to arrange A5 papers onto A4 landscape paper
either side-by-side or as a booklet. He made two bash
scripts for this. `pfarrei' provides one texlua script for
 the same.

Other points would be, e.g, special limitations of the
page break. `pfarrei' should help there too, but currently
this hasn't been implemented due to the early implementation
 state of the bundle.

 Uploader's additional comments:
 --
 [...]
Distributors please note, that a5toa4.tlu (generated from pfarrei.dtx
and also available in pfarrei.tds.zip) is also the executable of the
project. So please make is available at the binary directories, too
 (see README for more information).
