Hah... financial crisis due to illegal payments made to Lippo and Suharto. The PAITON COAL FIRED POWER PLANT in East Java... Californians should ask Edison International about that $50 no-payback loan to Suharto's daughter and the now-invalid $2.6 billion dollar Paiton power plant in Indonesia. The Indonesia power company PLN used my FOIA documents to prove the Edison project made the illegal loan in court. Keep in mind that the Suharto relative who had the no-cut/no-bid coal contract is also fianancially backed by the Lippo group. The coal is - of course - from the world's only sulfur free mine in Indonesia - thanks to former President Clinton's Utah monument. The proof? The Edison CEO wrote Ron Brown trying to strong arm the Asian Development Bank to make the no-payback loan to Suharto's daughter. ADB turned down Edison - forcing the utility to finance the no-payback loan using commercial notes. All now ruled illegal.
