Federal Agents Raid Pro-Gadafi Website

Internet -- Federal police have raided the home of the webmaster of the
anti-Zionist pro-
Gadafi website Mathaba.net, citing the "war on terrorism" as an excuse for
the
attack.
The website, which features links to information on Gadhafi's Green Book
as
well as translations of news articles from various African and Middle
Eastern
Newspaper, and live English-language newswires from African and Middle
Eastern
countries, has been a valuable resource to those tracking news and opinion
iun
the Muslim and African world. The website has also often carried speeches
by
Louis Farrakhan and other American minority leaders, and carried
"conspiracy
theory" material from American and Western writers, accusing the CIA and
other
US political groups of covert actions against African and Middle Eastern
countries.
The website had never, to LSN's knowledge, been used for subversive
activites,
or for the support of terrorism.
Information on the raid was sketchy, and reached LSN by way of the
Jamahiri
group on Yahoo, a group for American and European supporters of the Green
Revolution.
Gadafi, the ruler of Libya, led a revolution based on the Green charter, a
somewhat metaphysically based exposition of Democracy and Democratic
rights.

Gadafi's "Green Book", which has served as the guide for a number of
revolutionary movements in Africa, is also available at the site at
http://www.mathaba.net/rcm/ercm/egb.htm . It contains the "Third
Universal
Theory".
Many of Gadafi's supporters in Europe are offshoots of the European Third
Positionist Movement, a radical anti-imperialist and anti-colonialist
movement
that rejects both capitalism and communism for "third way" socialism, and
which
believes that all people have the right to ethnic and culture self-
determination within their own lands and communities.
