The Planning Consultative Council has identified six priority themes for the Millennium Forum: 1. Peace, Security & Disarmament 2. Poverty Eradication 3. Human Rights 4. Sustainable Development & the Environment 5. Facing the Challenge of Globalization: Achieving equity, justice and diversity 6. Democratizing & Strengthening the UN and Global Institutions In order to facilitate dialogue, exchange of information, and discussion of the recommendations for each of these areas, a set of electronic mailing lists has been set up - with one for each of the priority theme working groups for the Millennium Forum.
