A>The difference between honest free trade and WTO/world government as
you see it. What about immigration, for that matter?
Lloyd Sez:
Free trade is simply freedom to cross borders unrestricted
with goods,services, & money for the purposes of trade. The WTO, at
best, is to negotiate reciprocal free trade. At worst the WTO is
a method to regulate and standardize goods and services on
an international or supra-national basis. Special, vested
interests will control this regulation process in the interest
of major corporations, ie. for the exploitation of people.
B>Who attacked Rockefellerian wealth first, the Left or the
Fundamentalists? Do both have their roots in the Progressive movement?
Lloyd Sez:
Independent oil drillers first attacked the Rockefellers who
began by monopolizing refinery capacity and pipelines with
the connivance of State and Local Governments.
The Progressive Movement [nothing to do with the Fundamentalist
Populist Movement] was run by the Eastern Anglophile
Establishment and championed by their stinking toady
Theodore Roosevelt. The goal of Progressive Movement
was regulations such as Workman's Comp, the Federal
Reserve, Income Tax, anti-Trust etc....things that increased the power
of the Federal and State governments and the ruling class
behind them.
The Standard Oil Trust was a prime target
of the Progressive Movement. Anti-Trust laws succeeded
in breaking-up the Trust, but it continued on subrosa and
changed its tactics, taking over Federal Government and
via the formerly Anglophile complex of tactics and Institutions.
For instance, Rockefeller money overwhelmed the CFR,
Carnegie Trust and a plethora similar ruling class, originally
Anglophile, "good government" fronts.
