This is the same Bill Gates who once said (paraphrasing here, don't recall exact quote) something to the effect that there would never be a need for more than 512k of memory for a personal computer. He's good at one thing and one thing only: using and manipulating the system, any system, for his own personal gain, for the sole purpose of guaranteeing his own success. When he was in high school, he was the only person in the whole school -- staff included, obviously -- who could understand how the class scheduling computer worked. He was a scrawny little geek, naturally, who had a hard time getting dates, so he would schedule all of his classes so that he was the only male in the class, thereby eliminating his sexual competition.
