Just a quick update on the Wireless Flash plug: my only minor problem with it
was with what I found a derisive opening sentence. As it turns out, there is
an interesting story behind this.

Elaine Camuso, the reporter from Wireless Flash, sent me her original version
of the news report. It was identical, except, surprisingly enough, the
opening sentence.

This is the original opening sentence, as written by her:

Here's one for the "X-Files" -- a man in Los Angeles claims Woodstock '99 was
actually a government mind control experiment.

Here is the version sent by Wireless Flash:

Here's one for the "I've Been Watching Too Many "X-Files" File:" a man in Los
Angeles claims Woodstock '99 was actually a government mind control
experiment.

A tiny difference in words, but a great difference in meaning. Nothing new
here: reporters and talk-show hosts regularly come to me with pre-conceived
notions, and the vast majority leave stunned, as I hardly live up to any
caricature of a "conspiracy theorist," whatever the hell that means.
Needless to say, it appears Wireless Flash demanded to add a little mockery
to the article. Well, at least they got The contact information and website
name correct.

In any case, thanks to Ms. Camuso again, who has been an absolute delight to
speak to over the phone.
