-Caveat Lector- Perhaps June this was to be more ritual murder; remember McDermott - and that was not his real name, he was a Latino and looked like a wild man - who murdered all the people at the computer company back in early 90 period I missed my express bus to suburb and had to take the regular city bus which went through this beautiful part of Columbus - two kids were at back of bus, and when we got into this bad area - the one looked at me and smiled (both were black kids in late teens) and slowly reached into his jacket and pulled out a knife slowly, and it was a machete type of a knive I smiled back, and slowly opened my purse to reveal a detective's badge and kept my hand in my purse..the kid slowly put the knife back into his jacket.and next stop both got quietly off the bus - it was late at night for I worked at a newspaper then and left as it went to press. So this detective once had given me this Badge - reading Massillon (Detective).and told me to use it if I ever was in danger but warned me also re impersonation of a police officer - but this badge got me out of a lot of trouble - for often I was a target by some pretty strange peopleone strange black man followed me to line - and kept asking me "speakum the Deutsch"..yet one night it was raining and he followed me in a store, stood there and just watched me - now I am lily white, and he was very dark but gentlemanly - he saw me pick up this particular umbrella but I thought price too high for that particular store and I left and jumped on the late bus again.this man got on this bus..he followed me to the back and just smiled..when he left, he left me the umbrella-tag and all and it occured to me he could have been an undercover officer So I left that late night job - but maybe I was not the first person to have a person try to pull a machete knife on them.smiling. Lately I have gotten out this old badge and pinned it to purse inside.normally do not ride a bus unless it is express from our suburban city to Columbus - but prefer to ride in private automobile . But this Machete knife - what no Uzzi? May this is what principals need to carry these days. We have parents now from Columbine saying police shot their son..and suing.think the police also shot Klebold and Harris or there was someone else there in on the thing, that shot them to silence them..for where there is a testimony there must by necessity be the death of the testators.] Wonder if this guy used his real name - a Russian? Well when I saw McDermott's picture I knew he did not use his real name for he was no Scotsman.. Remember Son of Sam Berkowitz? But this need to slaughter the innocents - the children? So what will we have now a crusade to take knives away from people? Well there is a law against taking weapons in a school..but I would like to know more about the parents who caused the doors to be opened...and this man got through the doors which were always secured. And why not secure the doors - before a crime nt after? Something very fish about this - I would want to know what the guy read that day or night before, wat he saw on TV, why he had this particular knife - had he read a book and did he realize what he was doing? Only thing I saw news-wise - well it is too grotesque for I always have trouble repeating or writing of Jack the Ripper types My bible calendar indicates ritual slaughter that date of February 2..sacrifices, human - the slaughterman - and remembr the Ripper he was called the Jewish Slaughterman by some, who wore a leather apron - but he used a knife.and I believe the Ripper was a Russian spy for Lenin who was in England at the time - for the Czar had ordered the execution of his broher. So who was this idiot who then demanded his bond be set at 2 million dollars? Another programmed little Buford - who left neo nazi literature about? Yet I keep remembering those doctors connected to Jewish Mafia, who wanted to castrate this black doctor.doctor's find it easier to use a knife than a gun, but Lansky's psychotic killer got carried away and murdered the doctor with a gun..while their other friend made national news years later, by attempting to rub with a sub machine gun, a Vegas casino - he got caught, he was a lawyer and he is still in prison.he had caused the arrest once of the Doctor who was in prison with Hoffa in on murder of the one doctor = and the hit man lived on his farm... So they just wanted to castrate the guy.nobody ever placed a charge against them for just wanting to do that, even though the one doctor was an Asst. He doesn't claim to be Russian...it's his wife who is supposedly Russian (which may or may not be significant)... Remember Son of Sam Berkowitz? Who the NYC police now admit did not act alone? Who admit that they shouldn't have shut down the case after Berkowitz was arrested, because evidence pointed to others being involved...? But this need to slaughter the innocents - the children? The "Son of Sam" victims were young adults coming home from dates or a night socializing at local discos...hardly 'children'... Ostensibly the kids. You know, we would have heard nothing on the media for days except the story of the terrible slaughter of the little kindergarteners... Perhaps it was hoped this guy would have a semiautomatic, when all he had was a machete (perhaps he used it in gardening)...perhaps it was orchestrated so that regulation of implements that could be deemed potential weapons would become an acceptable concept to the public. My mother always carried a small, pearl-handled jackknife on her. When I was a teenager I asked her why, and she said that it had been her mother's, and that my grandmother had also carried that knife everywhere. It was considered a necessary tool, especially for working in the garden, and no one questioned it. My mother eventually gave me that knife, and I too carried it on my keychain like she did. I had that knife for years, and no one ever questioned me carrying it. But nowadays I run into trouble, I've gotten stopped too many times for 'carrying a weapon', that I no longer carry it. The thing was only 2 inches long (closed), but in an atmosphere that sees a nail clipper in school being as bad as a gun, anything with the potential to cause even minimal harm to another is verboten... Strange that at the same time I found my ability to carry my little pocketknife on my keychain constrained, one began to see more and more teargas and mace canisters carried on keychains... Oh well, I still have my can opener on my keychain...I was only stopped once for that, I was taking photographs of a local klan rally, and before the cops on the perimeter would let me get close enough to take the pix, I had to give the can opener to them. Guess they were afraid I might open a few klan kans... ;-) Putin you know let a little 14 year old kids leg be amputated when gangrene had set in for as a punishment Fourteen is hardly 'little', and amputation of a gangreneous leg is hardly punishment...it would have been necessary to save the kid's life... -Caveat Lector- A couple of things pop out for me in the article below, which makes this whole event seem mighty suspicious, e.g. 'staged'... First, that the attacker says he has no idea what he was doing at the school; in and of itself, this perhaps would suggest nothing...someone could be under the influence of drugs, or a psychotic, and have episodes of memory loss. But coupled with this is the fact that this guy asked that his bail be set at $2 million...usually people try to get their bail REDUCED, not raised to such a high amount that one presumably cannot be bailed. It is almost as if this guy WANTS to remain in jail for some reason, and not get released. Is he perhaps afraid that 'someone' will get to him if he is released from custody? Also, for all the bad stuff we read about public education and the teachers and principals in the public system, it's nice to read about how heroic the principal and staff of this school were in trying to subdue this guy. I hope that the principal makes a full recovery of her injuries... June === REUTERS Saturday, Feb. 3, 2001 Man with Machete Hurts Kids in Pennsylvania School FELTON, Pa. (Reuters) - A man wielding a machete went on a rampage inside a Pennsylvania elementary school on Friday, injuring five kindergartners, two teachers and the principal before staff members subdued him, authorities said. The children -- four girls and a boy, all aged 5 or 6 -- were slightly injured in the melee. But a kindergarten teacher and the principal at North Hopewell-Winterstown Elementary School both required surgery for hand lacerations. The wounds of 41-year-old principal Norina Bentzel were so severe that doctors sent her by air ambulance to a hospital that specializes in reconstructive hand surgery 50 miles away in Baltimore. State police identified the suspect as William Michael Stankewicz, 55, of Johnson City, Tenn., and charged him with attempted murder, aggravated assault and possession of a weapon on school grounds. He was jailed in the York County prison after asking that his bail be set at $2 million, a request granted by the district magistrate presiding over his arraignment hearing. The outer doors of the elementary school are kept locked as a security precaution. But police said Stankewicz entered the building shortly after 11:30 a.m. behind a parent and attacked Bentzel when the principal confronted him in the lobby. An ensuing struggle between the machete-wielding suspect and school staff spilled into a kindergarten classroom, where five children were hit by the machete, police said. Staff members finally subdued Stankewicz in a health room at around 11:45 a.m., just before police arrived and took him into custody. A 911 emergency call placed to York County Emergency Services by a panicked school staff member said the assailant was also carrying a baseball bat. But police said the report proved to be false. There was no immediate word on a motive for the attack. But during his arraignment hearing, Stankewicz described himself as a former Baltimore school teacher whose Russian wife and two children reside in York County. He also said he had no idea what he was doing inside the elementary school. A spokeswoman for Memorial Hospital in nearby York, a city about 10 miles northwest of Felton, said 52-year-old kindergarten teacher Linda Collier was scheduled for surgery on Friday evening. Third-grade teacher Stacey Bailey, 33, was treated for minor injuries and released. The five injured children -- four 5-year-olds and one 6-year-old -- were treated for minor cuts at another nearby hospital.
