Ron Paul for President 2004 Newsletter
Volume 1
Issue 1
February 7, 2002

IN THIS ISSUE:

1. Introduction
2. Ron Paul on C-SPAN NOW
3. Vote With a Vengeance
4. Ron Paul on Enron
5. Chuck Baldwin endorses Ron Paul for President.

1. INTRODUCTION

Hi. My name is Joe Eldred. I am Founder and Moderator of God Bless
America http://devoted.to/Godblessamerica "I have been asked to serve
as editor for the 'Ron Paul for President 2004'
Newsletter.' Paul2004.com is a joint venture between the United
America Patriot Alliance
http://www.intrex.net/unitedamericaalliance/default.htm and Remnant
Saints Inter-Continental Congress http://www.rsicc.org I am a member
of both and would like to thank their respective founders, Dennis
Slatton and Sterling Allan for all their hard work. I encourage you
to consider joining both organizations if you haven't already.

The chances are that if you are receiving this newsletter, you have
already signed Ron Paul for President Petition
http://www.petitiononline.com/Paul2004/petition.html If by some
chance you haven't, we would invite you to go and do so now.

The primary objective of this newsletter is to get more signatures on
that petition.

Dr. Paul has not declared his candidacy and has made it clear to us
that he will only consider doing so if we get enough signatures. How
many is enough? He didn't specify, but I am guessing something in
the hundreds of thousands range. As I write this there are 1312
signatures, so you can see we have our work cut out for us.

What can you do?

Forward the petition to everyone you know - to all your distribution
lists. Post it to message boards. Add a link to it from the home
page of your Website(s). Add a link to it in your signature block.
Write to conservative and patriot media and ask them to include links
to it on their sites. Contact the webmaster of your favorite
website, with whom you have a
friendly rapport, to have him/her add a link to their site. Please
remember in your campaigning to be polite and civil, not obnoxious.
The point is to ATTRACT people to our cause not turn them off. You
can go to ttp://www.paul2004.com/Petition/HardCopy/index.html and
print out hard copies of the petition for those that are not
connected to the world wide web. Take the petition to gun shows and
community gatherings and ask people to sign. Use your imagination.

You also should send Dr. Paul a polite note informing him that you
have signed the petition urging him to run and that you hope that he
will.
You can use the email form at
http://www.house.gov/paul/mail/welcome.htm
or contact his office at:

The Office of U.S. Rep. Ron Paul
203 Cannon HOB
Washington, DC 20515
(202) 225-2831

This is a one-way list and not a forum for discussion. We do not have
a set schedule, but will send out editions whenever circumstances
warrant. I will be happy to consider any constructive feedback you
have to offer for inclusion in future issues, but if you are
interested in a dialogue on issues pertaining to Paul2004, I
recommend our message board at
http://pub1.bravenet.com/forum/show.php?usernum=7995137&cpv=1
Our website is a great source for links and information relating to
Ron Paul, so be sure to visit http://www.paul2004 often. If you are
a webmaster you can place a Paul2004 banner on your site. If you
represent an organization, you can add it to our list of official
endorsers http://www.paul2004.com/SupportingOrganizations/index.html

Above all, do not be discouraged by the critics who may malign Dr.
Paul or who compliment him but say that our mission is hopeless. I do
not support Dr. Paul as my ideal candidate because no man of flesh
and blood is ideal. I don't agree with him on every single issue. I
do believe he is the candidate most likely to unite Libertarians,
Reform Party members, Constitution Party members, Republicans, and
others behind a single third party candidate. All we can do is what
we believe to be right to the best of our ability and trust in God
for the results.

2. RON PAUL ON C-SPAN NOW

The economy, foreign policy and civil liberties are the subjects of
a speech being given by Congressman Ron Paul right now during one-
hour special orders on the House floor.

C-SPAN (http://www.c-span.org) television is broadcasting the speech
as part of its regular programming.

This is a great way to spread the word about Paul2004 You can
distribute this information as a public service and include a link to
our petition.

The text of the speech will be posted on The Liberty Committee Web
site
(http://www.thelibertycommittee.org) within two days.We would
encourage you to subscribe to their free e-newsletter to stay abreast
of the activities and writings of Ron Paul. They send out about one
message per week.

3. VOTE WITH A VENGEANCE

While surfing the internet, I came across this site.
http://www.votewithavengeance.com/
I noticed that they did not have Dr. Paul listed as a potential
candidate, so I contacted the webmaster and referred him to our site
and asked him to include Ron Paul among his list of diverse
candidates. He responded with questions regarding Dr. Paul's stand
on particular issues. From his questions and from his site I got the
impression that he is a socialist, but it still puzzled me because I
could not see what difference issues would make in including us in a
general political site such as his. Nevertheless I referred him to a
number of Dr. Paul's floor speeches, mostly on the subject of family
values. I did not get a further reply, and I note that, as of this
writing Ron Paul still has not been included.

Please use the contact information at that site to politely ask him
to include Ron Paul

4. RON PAUL ON ENRON

Enron is a hot issue right now. As usual, Dr. Paul cuts to the heart
of the issue. It's hard to dispute his logic and this article would
be a great way to introduce him to newbie's.

5. CHUCK BALDWIN ENDORSES RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT

Respected radio personality Chuck Baldwin has endorsed Ron Paul for
President. This article makes the case better than had we written it
ourselves.
