i prefer separating online communication and offline preparation/building,
and i like to have control over when i call darcs-all, and which packages
i ask it to get. wouldn't it be more in
sometimes i feel like a human buildbot..
would it be possible to set some maximum failure time (1 week or so),
so that buildbot failures for longer than that would cause all new patches
to be put on hold until the head+libs _build_ again on all major platforms?

To test the -fhpc you use the hpc test suite - still in vaporware,
but will be installed *before* 6.8 RC1.
What I do is run a ~12 module program for coverage, and look at the
output for sanity right now.
Inside the Coverage.hs changes, the scoping was broken. The state
