I'm thankfull for the great effort everybody is making
to get cygwin better and better. I just wanted to make an
additional note, that, would all cygwin developers

I've programmed a Spam complaint tool for Emacs/Gnus (Lisp) years

why the Administrator is put to group none, gid 513 ?
That's correct. On stand-alone machines (no domain) all users
are in group 513 including admin. If you don't want that, you
can change it in /etc/passwd according

I regret if this is too much off topic, but I'm trying to pinpoint if
the problem is in my setup or at sourceforge staff's CVS setup. I'm
also hoping that some knowledgeable CVS admin / Linux admin could
figure the probable cause of the following behavior

Hi,
Is there any plans to include zip and unzip into Cygwin
distribution? They are quite essential when downloading
packages from net.

What is the procedure to get something included in Cygwin
distribution? I visited http://rsync.samba.org/rsync/ and
it compiled out of the box.
It would be good if it could ship with cygwin as well.

Hi,
I just built Berkeley 3.3.11 database out of the box. It had small error
in the install section of the makefile: It expected Unix binaries
but Cygwin binaries have .exe added.
The support at http://www.sleepycat.com promised to fix this
in next release.
