Shelby (R-AL), Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, will hold a press conference Wednesday, May 2 to discuss domestic terrorism and to announce hearings to investigate domestic terrorism. Senator Shelby will be joined by Senator Judd Gregg (Chairman of the Appropriations Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice State and the Judiciary) and Senator Pat Roberts (Chairman of the Armed Services Subcommittee on Emerging Threats and Capabilities). The press conference will highlight the Senate's series of hearings to examine the efforts of more than forty different federal agencies with responsibility for combating domestic terrorism.
