We have a script that generates .pyc files from .py files. We ran it on the root of the repository, which also compiled the .py files in _darcs/current! Question: if _darcs were named .darcs, would your script have skipped it by default? --Z ___

Yes, I ran into the problem a couple of days ago, when using Dreamweaver (not my choice!) to update web pages based on a template. The only way I got around it was moving _darcs out of the root directory, updating, and then moving it back, and doing a 'darcs repair' to fix the
