Siddhant, by the IUCN site did you mean the WDPA dataset from protectedplanet.net ? Was taking a closer look at that dataset and the polygons don't look accurate at all, many parks are just a very rough blob.

Mapping of all the National Parks and WLS extents is super useful and happy to join in the effort. Don't think there is a scheduled discussion on this at SoTM, but there will be spaces to have BoF discussion where those interested can join. Have started a page on OSM wiki to start collecting
