Hi all,
I have a doubt:
If the ARM processor's ROM bootloader(RBL) doesn't
read a valid UBL, it is going to always default to the
UART Boot Mode. It happens on the DVEVM, we checked.
But then, the UART0 pins are MUXED with GPIO35 and
36. On power-up, it is set to GPIO. It can be set by
Hello All,
We got DVEVM and 4CDs, one CD is davinci_digital_evaluation_kit_v1.21
including dvevm_1_00_00_27.
Now, I read Creating a TMS320DM6446 Audio Encode Example Using XDC Tools,
For Necessary Hardware and Software, bios_5_xx and cg6x_6_x_xx seems
provided by MVSDK. but I haven't. Is
Yes SOUND_MIXER_VOLUME is supported and would work also - but up to the
limit set by the gain. The DaVinci OSS driver uses the V3 of the OSS
API. There are some pointers as to which mixer ioctl to use depending on
what you want to do at http://www.4front-tech.com/pguide/

The pinmux settings are taken care of by the ROM boot code when it is
determined that a UART boot should take place, whether that is due to
initial switch settings or due to a fall back from another failed boot
mode (NAND or UHPI).

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has done any measurements on the real-time peformance
of the GIT or the montavista kernel? By peformance I mean interrupt and task
latency. We are wondering if Linux running on TI DaVinci in a sufficiently
loaded system would always be be able to have
