I'am using ccs3.2 to debug my program on dm446 DVEVM. When I set pre-define
symble CHIP_DM6446 in the compiler of ccs3.2, I got an error :
error NO CHIP DEFINED (use -dCHIP_ where is chip number,
i.e. 6201)
How to set the CHIP for my DM6446 DVEVM?
Thank you very much
Hi,
There are several ways of producing the root filesystem that I can think of (
some that I actually tried)
1/ Use LTIB (since you mentioned it) - it works fine - you need to force it to
use 'external' kernel source and point it to the compiler from the DM355 MV
installation. There
When I try to compile the dsplink, it will give several compile error.

Hi,
You can set the 'wrap' on minicom to it will correctly show the line. (cntrl-A
w) will toggle it on/off.
OK this time the target is trying to mount NFS but the server is not
responding. You posted your 'exports' file previously (which looked OK to me) -
did you start the nfs service?
Hi,
You need to specify the full ip= parameter...the last one 'autoconf' turns off
DHCP
ip=client-ip:server-ip:gw-ip:netmask:hostname:device:autoconf
Example:
ip=172.18.1.222:172.18.1.49:172.18.0.254:255.255.0.0:::off
Here the 'hostname' 'device' fields are not being set - hence the ':::'.
Thanks Mugdha.
http://tiexpressdsp.com still can not be accessed. The connection has
timed out.Damn!
After doing some modification, DSPLINK can be successfully compiled. But
on linking time, a strange error arise:
Post processing kernel module dsplinkk...
Thanks. Mugdha.
I will try to remove the sys_open etc from DSPLINK_140-05PL by comparing
DSPLINK_1_50.

Hi,
I am working on TMS320DM6467 board. I gone through the decode demo provided

Hi,
The information you seek is in the Getting Started Guide that ships with the
DM355 - see section A.3 Alternate Boot Methods
Just a minor point - the network root filesystem is served via NFS and has
nothing to do with TFTP. TFTP (if used at all) will load the kernel from a
suitable TFTP

Thanks you so much.

But I did not get any demo application with the DVEVM 6446 Board.
I don't have any guidance how to use these APIs.
Can anyone please help me to get a sample VIDEO-ANALYTIC demo Application?

Hello,
Does anyone know whether DM360 or DM355 will every be in GIT? Or will I have to

Thanks,

Dear all,
I have a problem here. If you put JFFS2 root file system on the NOR flash
partitions, you have to disable the Davinci IDE interface support option.
The real problem is, how can you get /dev/hda1 for CF card interface?
Cheers,

Hi Monk,
I'm using CE 2.00 and DSPLINk 1.40 p5.
And I've used earlier version also. Which was CE 1.10 + DSPLINK 1.30(DVSDK 1.10)
Does the CE version and DSPLINK matter?

Can you set the environment variable CE_DEBUG=2 and re-run your app?
This may drop some interesting trace describing 'how far' your app got,
and perhaps a clue as to what's failing.
FWIW, I added a brief description of CE_DEBUG here, too:
