Hey,
As I understand, you have a single video decoder, and you want two
instances running for two channels of the same decoder.
In this case you are okay with having a single folder inside the
/codecs/ folder for myVidDecoder.
I didn't useit yet, but the way you should do it is to declare a
Hi all,
I try to use part of the ffmpeg library to run as my algorithm/codec on the
DSP. but i fail to compile the algorithm since the compiler does not know this
function align(), it gives undefined in compilation. and i have to use such
function. Is there any equivalent function for the DSP
Hi,
Some documentation for the dm365 (for example
dvsdk_2_10_01_18/dm365_2_10_01_18_release_notes.html) suggests setting
mem=76M in the bootargs.
Why is there such a limit? Isn't there more memory available in the board?
Any pointer to more complete documentation on the subject is welcome.
Ramiro,
This limit is due the cmem buffers being allocated to this location. If you
have more RAM available on your final board, you can just move the cmem buffers
to another location and give more memory to the Linux kernel.

Hi,
Hello All:
We have developed a test application that capture video and encode it using
the mpeg4 codec provided in the dvsdk 2.0.0.22 for DM355. We did some
successful tests using MVL5.
Now, we would like to set up a full DM355 system using the git kernel. We

Hi,
When working with DM355 UART1, we are experiencing a strange behavior. When
calling the write function for this UART, sometimes it takes 200 ms for the
write function to complete. This happens when a write function is called right
after another write function. There is not a lot of data
