JDBC Type BIGINT in Firebird ----------------------------- Key: DDLUTILS-60 URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DDLUTILS-60 Project: DdlUtils Type: Bug Environment: SuSE Linux 10.0, Firebird 2.0 Beta1, JDK 1.5.0_06, JayBird 2.0.1, Reporter: Andre Berten Assigned to: Thomas Dudziak
The jdbc type BIGINT is converted to the database type DECIMAL(38,0). Firebird does support DECIMAL (and NUMERIC) with a maximum precision of 18. NUMERIC(18,0) or DECIMAL(18,0) should work fine as a conversion of BIGINT. The NUMERIC and DECIMAL types did not change since InterBase 6.0, so this should work for InterBase 6.0 too. Since Firebird 1.5 there is also the native BIGINT type. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
