Deadlists states that the Dead played in Bangor, ME on 4/22/71 (their first
appearance in ME). I'm wondering if that date is based on solid evidence -
ticket stub, concert attendee, etc.

The performances at the Avalon, 3/24-26/67 are not listed at Deadlists.
There is a fairly popular poster for this run of shows by Rick Griffin,
FD054 showing an old photo of a group of Native Americans. I don't think
there's any doubt these shows existed - it just seems to be an inadvertent
