Well the problem is that it is a complete kernel from www.kernel.org, not a Debian kernel. But i can try to compile a Debian kernel with a replaced core_cia.c. yesterday i tried kernel 2.6.6, 2.6.5 and 2.6.4 (all from kernel.org) and the machine hangs while aboot was loading the kernel. no idea
