I have a thecus n2100 which has recently started oopsing. I've attached a
copy of the oops to the end of this email, but I really don't know what it
means.
There are two disks in the box (one 2T and one 640G) and I run dirvish for
backups on them, so there is a fair amount of disk activity
FINALLY got serial working on the N2100 and did debian install via it. Did the
partitioning bit as always and then the formatting started up to 33% then this
was outputed a few seconds later

Due to the long-standing DMA issues, I'm still running lenny on my Thecus
N2100. I'd quite like to upgrade it, however.

The problem remains. The /etc/fstab parse error is quite wierd, however
the guessed root device is correct :) I really begin to suspect a bug in
mkinitramfs-kpkg ...
