I2C-Ports on the graphic card. I always have first to install an older
graphics card and after suceeded start of the desktop install the actual
generic Nvidia driver and after this reinstall my new GTX 560 SE.
Leaving it up to X wizards. This is likely a bug in the X driver or in
the kernel. They should know..:-)

step Searching drives for an installer ISO image,
while mounting the extended partition /dev/sda4.
This partition should never be mounted.

The hang is caused by the script iso-scan.postinst (package: iso-scan), where
the extended partition is not omitted from the device list.
This bug has the same cause as the mountmedia bug #683849.

After some googling I found out that the root cause of the recent mount problems with extended partitions (maybe also mounting disks like sda) are related to the infinite loop kernel bug in __getblk_slow.
