Hello, I've just installed debian/bsd and managed to get the network
going after editing /etc/network/interfaces and /etc/init.d/networking
restart.
However, after an apt-get update/upgrade and reboot I can not get the

Well, I'm pretty new to debian myself so I did it the hard way and
configured it by hand. I guess debian has some nice tools for this
(perhaps dpkg-config ???) but it was easier for me to

What do you mean exactly? Could you post a copy of the error message.
Note that it works correctly here.
