The Dell Poweredge 1850 also has this problem. Unloading the rtc module
and loading the genrtc module instead fixes the problem.
I'm also having a bit of trouble with the wrong module getting
autoloaded despite settings to the contrary in /etc/modutils. I'll open
a seperate bug for this problem
