I still have the same problem with evolution before and after the NMU
and had to recompile evolution without the patch.
evolution maintainers: are you till active? Perhaps the ubuntu evolution
maintainer could help out (seb128).

so, I just had to execute the following commands:
cd $NFSROOT
mkdir tmp/etc
cp /etc/resolv.conf tmp/etc/
and then
chroot .
apt-get update
